Affiliate Membership

Who can become an Affiliate?

Affiliate Membership is intended for individuals or businesses that provide products or services to the real estate industry but do not qualify for REALTOR® membership.

Examples include:

Mortgage lenders and loan officers
Insurance professionals
Stagers and designers
Title and escrow companies
Real estate attorneys
Credit repair and financial services
Home inspectors
Photographers and videographers
Technology and software providers
Contractors and tradespeople
Home warranty providers
Other businesses serving real estate professionals

Affiliate FlexMLS access is not the same as REALTOR® or MLS participant access. Affiliate access is limited to the features and permissions authorized by the SBMLS and is intended primarily for access to real-estate-related information and marketing resources.

Affiliate Membership is an individual membership.

Affiliate Membership is issued to a specific individual, even when that individual is affiliated with a company.

The membership cannot be transferred to another employee.
If the member changes employers, the membership information must be updated.
A company does not receive multiple Affiliate memberships simply by having one employee join.
Each individual who wants Affiliate privileges must maintain their own membership.
Membership fees are associated with the individual membership and are not transferable to another person.

Application & Fee Breakdown

Affiliate membership renews every January 1 for $295.

Application and membership fees are due in full upon final processing of your application. Please see the fee breakdown below, which reflects the membership fee prorated based on your month of joining month.
