What are the billing due dates?

December: SentriLock, REALTOR® and MLS fees are assessed, and emailed to your email on file.

January 1st: All dues and fees are due.

January 10th: Late fees are assessed to the unpaid accounts, and unpaid accounts are suspended.

February 1st: All unpaid accounts are terminated. New application fees apply.


June: SentriLock and MLS fees are assessed, and emailed to your email on file.

July 1st: MLS & SentriLock fees are due.

July 10th: Late fees are assessed to the unpaid accounts, and unpaid accounts are suspended.

August 1st: All unpaid accounts are terminated. New application fees apply.

 

How much are dues in 2025?*

 REALTOR® dues for existing members are $718 for NAR, CAR and local membership.

The FlexMLS subscription for existing subscribers in Santa Barbara is $325 twice a year.

SentriLock access for existing subscribers in Santa Barbara is $90 twice a year.

*This does not include the application fees for new members/subscribers.

 

Are there refunds for dues or fees paid?

 No, as part of the application, we indicate that there are no automatic refunds for dues or fees paid. It is the responsibility of the account holder to maintain any automatic payment, updated contact information, or account maintenance. In the event of an emergency situation, requests may be made to the Board of Directors for consideration, to be heard at their next upcoming board meeting. Send that request to mcantello@sbaor.com with the reasons and details of your request. The request made is confidential and will not be kept on file.

 

How do I cancel/close my account?

 Send an email to membership@sbaor.com with your name, company, and your request to terminate your account. Unused subscription or membership dues will not be refunded. Please see above! These requests are processed on the day received.

Only for MLS and SentriLock, NOT REALTOR dues. Autopay will not apply to already received invoices.

How do I pay my dues/fees?

Pay Online

The invoices we send out include a link to log in and pay your bill through Member Services.

You can also navigate at any time to Member Services, go to 'Menu' > 'Personal Services' and choose from 'My SBAOR Account', 'My Key Account' or 'My MLS Account' to see if you have any outstanding invoices. You can bypass logging into the website, by using the FlexMLS system, and clicking 'Member Services'.

Once the account is late and suspended, you cannot pay online and must use another option.

Mail a Check

Checks may be mailed to: Santa Barbara Association of REALTORS®, 1415 Chapala St. ,Santa Barbara, CA 93101

REALTOR Dues must be made out to the Santa Barbara Association of REALTORS® or SBAOR. MLS and SentriLock key must be separate, and must be made out to Santa Barbara Multiple Listing Service or SBMLS. Checks that combine separate services may not be processed.

Checks may also be dropped through the mail slot at any time. Mailed check envelopes must be stamped by the post office within the due date or late fees will apply.

 

Call/Visit during business hours

We are able to send email receipts as proof of payment. We take American Express, Visa and MasterCard.

Please keep in mind that during billing time, the volume of calls incoming will make your attempts to reach the front office difficult. Because of the availability of checks, in-person payment and online pay, inability to reach the office phone will not be a valid reason for excusing late fees.

We are available by phone Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. The office is open to members on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8-5pm.
