The Mission of the Santa Barbara Association of REALTORS® and MLS is to be the trusted voice for real estate, a resource for our community and an advocate for our members’ success and the public we serve. We unite over 1,400 members spanning various real estate domains. From the dynamic world of residential sales, commercial transactions, property management endeavors, to the nuanced art of appraisal and critical affiliate services.

REALTOR® Membership

$838 every January 1st

Some key member benefits include:

Automatic membership in the California Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®
Use of the “REALTOR®” designation
Access to zipForms, legal advice, health insurance, education courses and seminars
The opportunity to serve on committees, attend Association-sponsored events, and network with your peers
This membership is separate from FlexMLS and SentriKey

Application Costs

This includes National, State, and Local dues. Dues owed at the time of joining are prorated by month, and will also include a $300 application fee for Santa Barbara and $200 California processing fee.

Multiple Listing Service

$340 due January 1st and July 1st

The MLS is the organization that provides information regarding property sales in the Santa Barbara service area (not the entire county). As a California Salesperson or Broker Associate licensee, you qualify for MLS membership if your Broker is a member of the Santa Barbara MLS.

This subscription is separate from the REALTOR Association and SentriLock access.

Application Costs:

Fees owed at the time of joining are prorated weekly and will also include a $300 one-time application fee in addition to the prorated MLS fee. If joining during the December or January billing period, continuing membership fees for the next 6 months will be applied.

But what's the cost today?

The REALTOR® membership dues are prorated by month, while the Multiple Listing service is prorated by week. These numbers are subject to change; contact the Membership Department for up to date fees and dues.
